Community Service Opportunities
Student Community Service Program
The TWS project is a great way for students to satisfy their community service requirements or to gain additional exposure to community minded projects to further their educational training. This opportunity is open to High School and College aged students and can be accomplished during the week, Saturday’s, winter, spring or summer break. Advanced scheduling must be made through the Volunteer coordinator before students may participate in the program.
Adult Community Service Program
TWS is a court approved adult community service location. Traffic violations, non-violent misdemeanors, social service required hours or court ordered community service hours can be fulfilled at TWS. The opportunity to work and learn at TWS should only be taken advantage of by someone who enjoys this type of work and environment. If you feel this is a program that you might enjoy and want to make a positive out of a negative then TWS may be for you. However TWS reserves the right to decline any participant who may not be properly motivated to share in this great program.
What do I need to know about these opportunities?
