Classes & WorkshopsThere are 4 primary fields of research. |
Classes are offered at a variety of times including days, evenings & weekends and run approximately 90 minutes. Classes are held indoors and out depending on course content and weather conditions. Workshop education includes hands-on application of the course content provided in a working, growing environment. Participants are actively involved in the projects and pursuits of the designated workshop. Workshops are longer in duration and may extend into multiple-day projects. Material costs may be applicable. Each of these educational experiences offers a complete and comprehensive curriculum, and may provide supplementary hand-outs that can be used after the classroom experience.
Together We Stand also offers specialized camp opportunities for high school students during Spring break and during the summer months. These hands on experiences will supplement the education that students are participating in their classrooms.
School Field Trips
Schools (public, private and home) can also schedule customized guided tours & field trips for an uncommon educational exposure. Tours will be guided by our trained staff to provide a unique and memorable learning experience. This customized curriculum is a valuable tool to the educator to enhance the focus of the particular topic or material currently being taught in the classroom.
Curriculum materials will be provided prior to each field trip and students will participate in workshops that will expand upon the lessons outlined in these curriculum materials.
Specialized tours are also offered to the general public, special groups or clubs. Arrangements can be made to provide a behind the scenes tour that will not only be educational, but engaging and enlightening.
Groups and clubs can also enjoy the learning experience at TWS by scheduling a private guided tour. The information and technologies showcased at TWS is fun and informative for all age groups and all interests.
Year round camp opportunities are available for grades 9-12. Camps consist of one, three and five day sessions and are designed to inspire, educate and equip through an in-depth, hands-on practical learning experience not commonly available today.
